Aṅgaṃ hareḥ pulaka-bhūṣaṇam-āśrayantī bhṛṅgāṅganeva mukulābharaṇaṃ tamālam
She who dwells upon the body of Hari (Vishnu), adorned by the thrill of his joy, like a female bee upon a tamala tree in bud,
Aṅgīkṛtā'khila-vibhūtir-apāṅga-līlā māṅgalyadā'stu mama maṅgaḷa-devatāyāḥ
she whose playful sidelong glance has claimed all prosperity as her own -- may the auspicious glance of that goddess bring me good fortune.
verse 2
Mugdhā muhur-vidadhatī vadane murāreḥ prema-trapā-praṇahitāni gatā'gatāni
The enchanting one, again and again upon the face of Murari (Krishna/Vishnu), casting glances that come and go, bowed low in love and shyness,
Mālādṛśor-madhukarīva mahotpale yā sā me śriyaṃ diśatu sāgara-sambhavāyāḥ
like a female bee upon a great blue lotus, moving among a garland of glances -- may she, born of the ocean, grant me prosperity.
verse 3

Viśvāmarendrapada-vībhramadāna-dakṣa ānanda-hetur-adhikaṃ mura-vidviṣo'pi
She who is skilled in bestowing even the wavering glory of Indra, lord of all the gods, and who is the greater cause of joy even to the enemy of Mura (Vishnu),
Īṣan-niṣīdatu mayi kṣaṇam-īkṣaṇarddham indīvarodara-sahodaram-indirāyāḥ
may half of Indira's (Lakshmi's) glance, akin to the heart of a blue lotus, rest upon me gently, even for a moment.
verse 4

Āmīlitākṣam-adhigamya mudā Mukunda ānanda-kandam-animeṣam-anaṅga-tantram
Having approached Mukunda (Vishnu) with half-closed eyes in joy, the root of bliss, unwinking, absorbed in the art of love,
Ākekara-sthita-kanīnika-pakṣma-netraṃ bhūtyai bhaven-mama bhujaṅga-śayāṅganāyāḥ
her eye, with pupil turned sidelong beneath fluttering lashes -- may that glance of her who reclines with the serpent-bedded one (Vishnu) bring me prosperity.
verse 5

Bāhvantare madhujitaḥ śrita kaustu-bhe yā hārāvalīva harinīlamayī vibhāti
She who shines, resting between the arms of the conqueror of Madhu (Vishnu) upon the Kaustubha gem, like a string of sapphire-blue pearls,
Kāmapradā bhagavato'pi kaṭākṣamālā kalyāṇam-āvahatu me kamalālayāyāḥ

She who flashes like a streak of lightning upon the beautiful chest of the enemy of Kaitabha (Vishnu), dark as a row of monsoon clouds,
Mātuḥ samasta-jagatāṃ mahanīya-mūrtir-bhadrāṇi me diśatu bhārgava-nandanāyāḥ
the venerable form of the mother of all the worlds -- may the daughter of Bhrigu (Lakshmi) grant me blessings.

That position which, by his own power, Manmatha (the god of love) first attained, born in the auspicious slayer of Madhu (Vishnu, as Kamadeva his son),
Mayy-āpatet-tadiha manthara-mīkṣaṇārdhaṃ mandā'lasañca makarālaya-kanyakāyāḥ
may that same half-glance, slow and languid, of the daughter of the ocean (Lakshmi), fall upon me here.
verse 8
Dadyād dayānupavano draviṇāmbudhārām asmin-nakiñcana vihaṅga-śiśau viṣaṇṇe
May the gentle breeze of her compassion grant a stream of wealth, like rain, upon this poor fledgling bird who is downcast,
Duṣkarma-gharmam-apanīya cirāya dūraṃ nārāyaṇa-praṇayinī nayanāmbuvāhaḥ
removing far away, for a long time, the heat of evil deeds -- may the rain-cloud that is the eye of Narayana's beloved (Lakshmi) do so.
verse 9

Dṛṣṭiḥ prahṛṣṭa-kamalodara-dīptir-iṣṭāṃ puṣṭiṃ kṛṣīṣṭa mama puṣkara-viṣṭarāyāḥ
